The Organoid Developer Conference (ODC), which began in 2018 as a small symposium focused on organoids, is already entering its 8th edition.
In 2025, this special journey will return once to Seoul—where it all began—and then move to Bangkok with the goal of fostering a cross-regional collaborative ecosystem.

From the very beginning, ODC has been driven by a clear belief:
“Science holds true meaning only when it can be applied to everyday life and make a real impact.”
To embody this value, ODC has consistently committed to one crucial distinction—a different way of communicating science.
Rather than simply delivering knowledge, the organizing committee continuously explores how life sciences can be experienced firsthand.
During ODC25 Seoul, held this past June at COEX and Magok in Seoul, the effectiveness of this approach became undeniably evident.
• A fashion show themed around sustainability
• Music created through symbiosis with microorganisms
• An artificial intelligence film festival
• In-depth discussions on technological advancement and ethical boundaries
ODC brings researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers together not through conventional academic lectures, but through entirely new program formats that allow participants to directly experience the moment when research steps out of the lab and into real life.
Moreover, ODC ensures that the physical space itself becomes a catalyst for perspective-shifting experiences.
From stage design, movement flows, and spatial atmosphere—to sophisticated archiving of content and a distinct curatorial lens applied to speakers and participants—ODC designs the entire experience.
It may seem unconventional, but it is precisely what makes ODC more practical and more impactful.

In December 2025, ODC will take a bold step beyond Korea and begin a new experiment across ASEAN.
With its first global edition, the conference aims to build a cross-regional collaborative ecosystem.
ASEAN is rapidly emerging in bio-innovation—including regenerative medicine and advanced biopharmaceuticals—and governments in the region are increasingly investing in these strategic industries.
Amid this strong momentum, ODC offers a transformative, experience-driven approach to scientific communication.
Cultural exchange through science, a connected ecosystem beyond borders, and meaningful collaborations that bridge academia and industry—
ODC will deliver these values not only through talks and presentations, but through new and immersive forms of experience
